Alexa Pinkney
Executive Assistant
Chiropractic has played a role in Alexa’s life since her mid teens. From regular adjustments to managing a neurofunctional based chiropractic office and now, the Executive Assistant at Alliance for Chiropractic, she is passionate about the profession.
A year and a half ago, Alexa and her husband Josh welcomed their son Jack into the world. Jack’s start to life is a living testament to how vital chiropractic is. Alexa received regular weekly adjustments throughout her pregnancy. At 34 weeks, Alexa had an emergency c-section due to a placental abruption, which lead to a three-week NICU stay across four hospitals. Doctors and nurses were shocked at how quickly Jack progressed through the NICU and made it home. Once home, we quickly visited our chiropractor, Dr. Tamara Holowka, for his initial assessment and INSiGHT Scan. The scans reported that Jack’s nervous system was well balanced, and he had an initial corescore in the 90s. This was proof that Alexa’s regular adjustments throughout pregnancy translated over to giving Jack an excellent start in life, despite all the trauma and stressors experienced in his first three weeks. To this day, Jack still loves going for his regular adjustments!
When it comes to the AFC, you will find Alexa taking the lead on anything and everything when it comes to our members. In addition, she works alongside Louisa helping to plan, organize and carry out the AFC conferences, handling any and all detail in between and assisting the directors with their projects.
On a personal side, Alexa is avid about family, health and fitness. You’ll often find Alexa attending swimming, gymnastics or different playgroups with her son Jack. She enjoys working out and running, competing in a handful of races yearly. She also plays baseball and volleyball on a weekly basis during their respective seasons. Alexa and her family love the outdoors and enjoy going on hikes and walks.
Alexa is excited to be part of AFC and their vision. She looks forward to playing an active role in advocating and promoting principle-centered, neurologically-based chiropractic.
